The nabaztag is the smart and communicating rabbit invented by the violet company. The nabaztag is connected to the internet and expresses various informations and emotions through the movements of its ears, its internal lights and its speaker.

Since 2005, I have been in charge of the design of the behavior and luminodynamics of the rabbit.

The nabaztag rabbit's identity heavily relies on its behavior, autonomous or interactive. It has to be both informative and reflect a conspicuous sense of being alive. This implies an overall vision on the consistency of its various manifestations : design work on all the visual expressions of the rabbit, a design of its interactive functions, choreographic movements while dancing on its music, visual signatures and messages, autonomous movements like Tai Chi, etc...

This design work is done in collaboration with the incredibly creative team of Violet : Olivier Mevel and Rafi Haladjian, the two genitors of the rabbit, Jean-Jacques Birgé who does all the sound design, Maÿlis Puyfaucher who does all the voice authoring and recordings, and all the others...

The DAL is a lamp connected to the internet, which expresses informations through its 9 lights. It is also interactive through touch and audio.

For the DAL object, in 2003, I was in charge of the design of the interactivity and of the visual dynamics. This implied a delicate mix of extreme usability for the services and a warm personality through its autonomous and interactive dynamics.
